I know they want us fans to be happy with what we’re given. If they needed more time to realize the vision that is what they should’ve had. It just feels like tough decisions were made or something, because it comes across as rushed and I’d never put that on the average developer. I wish that whatever caused me to feel this way wasn’t this way. Truly I don’t want to do that, I just feel some responsibility to be completely silent and it’s a status quo I’d like to see change. The Sims can be silly and over the top, but Island Living has succeeded at making a very believable form of escapism that is enjoyable and relaxing in all the right ways.It’s hard to be critical of a team you respect and a franchise you love, while also knowing some fans will feel I’m criticizing on something they love.
